Here are some great Math Websites that can be used in multiple ways.  Many lend themselves to individual practice activity as a task computing exercise or during Indoor Recess.  A number of the activities also lend themselves to all class instruction through the use of the computer and projection equipment.

The Virtual  Manipulatives Library from Utah State University has a fabulous collection of interactive activities.  All are grouped by grade level and content.  Great resource for all class interactive instruction and then individual or team follow up activities. From the NCTM come some great interactive and instructional sites from creating triangles with geoboards, creating polygons with geoboards and even working with tanagrams.  Great visuals for all class instruction.
SpeedMath Deluxe from Jefferson Lab challenges kids to take four digits and quickly create an equation using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  Good individual or all class activity for upper grades  GetSmarter.org has international math quizzes to compare students' skills to those of students in other countries.  Interesting problems and also great science questions as well.  Might be good place for some MCAS review practice.
A Plus Math Flashcards
Interactive flash cards for practicing and reviewing addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, square roots, and rounding.  
Math Mayhem
Interactive games from Learning Planet.  Addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.  Requires shockwave.  Sound may be turned off.

Addition & Subtraction

Add ‘Em Up & Take It Away Quick games for addition and subtraction practice. Be advised there are distractions that may encourage extra "clicking".  Supervison is advised.

Triple A Math has lots of interactive activities for all grade levels from Adding to Money to Fractions to Place value Two Minute Warning
See how many flashcards you can solve in 2 minutes.  Choice of operations.

Multiplication

Interactive Multiplication Table
This site offers an interactive multiplication table. You insert a multiplication problem using numbers 1-12 and the answer appears on the table -highlighting the math pattern involved.

Multiplication Chart
The student clicks on one number from 1-10 in the left column and one from the upper row to multiply. Then by clicking on the equal sign in the upper right corner the answer array is highlighted and the multiples of each of the numbers up to the product are shown along the right side and the bottom.

The Product Game
A fun interactive game that exercises your skill with factors and multiples.  A 2 player game that is a variation of tic-tac-toe.

Multiplication 'Trick'
A strategy for teaching the ‘hard’ multiplication facts, that makes them simple.

 

Fractions

Fresh Baked Fractions
FUNBRAIN will show you four fractions.  Click on the fraction that is not equal to the others.
Fraction Frenzy
The is a game like Concentration.  A group of fractions will appear on the screen.  You must group the equivalent fractions.
Visual Fractions
Use this site to identify, rename, compare, add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions.

As part of the Utah State Virtual Manipulative site, both Visualizing Fractions & Equivalent Fractions  provide good opportunities for teaching and practicing these concepts using illustration.

Match the pizza to the fraction.

Geometry

Can you get the Turtle to the Pond?

Maybe you can get the Ladybug to the Leaf or take the challenge of the Ladybug Maze.
Shape Maker
Find the area or the perimeter of the rectangle shown.  You uncover a puzzle piece for each correct answer.  The game is over when you get all the puzzle pieces.
Use the manipulatives at Pattern Blocks
to explore shapes and how they relate to each other. Once inside the panel you can rotate them and move them.   
Base 10 Blocks allows you to click on any of three different block sizes that represent 1 unit, 10 units, and 100 units and drag them into the working panel. Once inside the panel, students can click on the blocks so they can move, rotate, break, and glue the blocks to do all types of arithmetic

 

Time & Money

Telling Time simple practice with both analog and digital clock.

From Pieces of Science is a whole page of activities about money for primary grades..  There are online as well as offline activities available.  

Coins  Pick an item that you want to buy, then choose the coins to pay for it. Simple activity, but advise supervision. Lots of distraction.

Change Maker Do you know if you are getting the right change? Figure out how many of each bill or coin  you expect to get back when you buy  something.  You can choose the difficulty level and the currency.

Money and Banking
A site from Sovereign Bank to help children learn about money and banking.  Start your tour with Penny and then visit with Dollar Bill.

Money Play the Moneyopolis game and see if you can make wise choices with your money.
At this Coin Tutorial, find activities for recognizing coin values. At Coin Recognition, find interactive coin activities for students as well as resources for teachers.

Roman Numerals
Learn how to read and write Roman Numerals. 

Visit the US Mint for kids site and learn how money is made and more!
Find interactive lessons all about counting money. Visit Planet Orange to learn about different kinds of money, value and more.  Needs to be viewed as a whole class as reading level is above grade 2.
