There are living creatures all around the Blanchard grounds. We have Great
Blue Herons, Ducks and other birds, including a few(?) Canadian Geese. We
have beavers bats and woodchucks. When we get pictures of the wildlife,
especially if there is a story to go along with those pictures, we will put it
up here.

The Local Turtles are laying
their eggs again. How many babies do turtles have?  How long is it until they hatch? |
Students noticed a couple of
turtles in a catch basin behind the cafeteria Mrs. Lortie rescued the two baby Snapping turtles.  |
She put them in the pond. Where they promptly ran and
hid under a rock. |
